Extension, collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from users (each, a "User"
or "you") of the YBlock service.
1. The YBlock Content Blocker Functionality
YBlock is a Safari Content Blocker Extension designed to enhance your browsing experience by
blocking advertisements, trackers, and other unwanted content.
1.1. Browsing Data & Privacy (The Core Function)
As a Safari Content Blocker, YBlock operates locally on your device using rules provided by the Safari browser
system.
- We Do Not Track: YBlock does not have access to, collect, monitor, log, or transmit any
information about your browsing activities, browsing history, or the content of the webpages you visit.
- Local Operation: All content blocking decisions are made by your device based on the
blocking rules. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible by the developer.
- No Ad-Blocking Data Collection: We do not collect statistics or performance data related to
what ads or trackers were blocked.
2. Information We Collect (Authentication)
We only collect Personal Information necessary to create and manage your subscription and access to premium
features of the App.
2.1. Personal Data You Provide Directly
When you create an account to use the premium features of YBlock, we collect the following information:
- Account Information: Your email address and a securely hashed and salted password (which we
cannot read)
are collected during registration.
3. How We Use Your Information
The information we collect is used solely for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain your account for the App.
- To allow you to log in and access premium features.
- To communicate with you regarding updates, security alerts, and support requests.
- To maintain the security of our service (e.g., preventing brute force attacks).
4. Third-Party Service Provider (Supabase)
We use a third-party service provider, Supabase, for user authentication and account management.
All your
account information (email, password hash) is processed and stored on Supabase's platform.
- Supabase: Provides the backend services for user registration and authentication (Supabase
Auth).
- Your use of the authentication service is also governed by the Supabase Privacy Policy, which you can review

- We are a separate entity from Supabase and are not responsible for their data collection practices.
5. Data Security
We take commercially reasonable measures to protect your Personal Information. However, no method of transmission
over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use acceptable means to
protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
